Race Tip

THOUSANDS OF HOPES (4) is in top form including a win by 2. 75 lengths over 6f at this track (Dirt) last time to make it two victories in a row. Can go on with it. LIL MUGGS (6) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 13 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when sixth over 6½f at Churchill Downs, beaten 11 lengths. This is a nice drop in grade so he is likely to feature in the finish. SPECIAL CREED (5) returned from a lay-off nine days ago when he was beaten 18 lengths into eighth over 6f at this track. Has a fair record when second up, including two top-three finishes. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. MIKE'S CYCLONE (2) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 11 lengths away in seventh over 5½f at this track. Well placed to turn things around.
