FRIAR NEWTON (6) drifted well back last start before storming home to score by 1. 3 lengths over 1m1/4f at Horseshoe Indianapolis Turf (Turf). Has a strong record at this course, scoring four times from seven starts. Will prove tough to beat. SPEED BIAS (1) was prominent at the corner and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1m1/2f at Oaklawn Park after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Won't find this as tough so he is all set to build on that latest effort. BEDARD (3) was in the firing line on the corner and finished second last time over 1m1/2f at Oaklawn Park (Dirt), beaten half a length. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again.
