Finished fifth at Santa Anita (Dirt) over 1m at the opening run last time in work. Best fresh figures put him right in this. MINE OWN STAR (8) could only manage ninth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 6f at this track, beaten 3 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. BOITANO (1) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing second last time when he was prominent throughout over 1m at this track (Dirt). Meets some better types this time but another big run is on the cards. HOLD YOUR APPLAUSE (12) has switched yards since finishing eighth a month ago over 1m1/2f at Lone Star Park.
