GUNOE (6) finished a 8 length seventh when resuming last start over 1m1/2f at Oaklawn Park (Dirt). Has a decent second up record. Can improve sharply. HERN (5) was in the money two starts back at Oaklawn Park but couldn't back it up last time when tenth, beaten 14 lengths, at Oaklawn Park (Dirt) over 1m1/2f. Ideally placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. KING ICE (2) returns after a lay-off of nine months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1m at this track. Yet to win when resuming but generally runs well with two minor placings from three tries. Worth plenty of thought. TRANSECT (4) resumes. Didn't make an impact at his only run last prep on 1/12/2024, finishing tenth and beaten 23 lengths over 1m in Listed grade at Churchill Downs (Dirt). Blinkers come off expected to run well.
