BARB'S VORTEX (10) returned from a lay-off three-and-a-half weeks ago when she was beaten 8 lengths into seventh over 1m at this track. Steps up a level but she is fitter and up to the task. KAMIKAZE UMAGI (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m1/4f at Presque Isle Downs, beaten 4 lengths into fourth. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is one of the key runners. LUCKY LESSON (2) has recorded four minor placings from four runs this campaign. 6 lengths from the winner in second last start over 1m at belterra park (turf). Meets a stronger field but she is up to the task. VINO ROSATO (3) was in the firing line on the corner and finished third last time over 1m at this track (Turf) when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 2.5 lengths. Taking on a better field but she is good enough to make a big impact.
