GODDESS OF ROCK (3) got home by 0. 8 lengths last time out over 1m2 1/4f at this track. Has a good record at this track with two wins and seven minor placings. Settles back early but winds up late. Will be tough to hold out. FLORENCE GLASS (2) missed the frame last time when fourth at this track. That followed a run of two wins on end. Troy Baker who has two wins when partnering stays on. Should be hard to stop. ALWAYS A WINNER (4) finished fifth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1m1 1/2f at Devonport Synthetic, beaten one length. Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough to take this out. TIDEFORD (6) showed good speed here last time over 1m2 1/4f until tiring late and finishing sixth, beaten 3 lengths. Sound record at this distance with two wins and six minor placings from 12 runs and has solid claims.
