LIVE ON LOVE (1) settled back before coming home strongly to score as favourite on debut over 5½f at this track ten months ago and has not appeared since. Has since been kept ticking over with a Longford trial win. Likely improver who should run well again. LADY FERN (9) hit the frame two starts ago at Launceston but ran below par last time when 11th and beaten 7 lengths over 7f at Launceston. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. ROYAL DETECTIVE (6) finished off last campaign with a seventh over 7f27yards at Moruya on January 5 and has since switched stables. Ran fourth in a trial at Longford over 4f. Goes well when fresh with a win and one minor placings from three starts. Should feature in the finish. OUTBUSH (2) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 5 lengths, over 6f21yards at Launceston. Solid top-three prospects.
