ZIRYAB (8) hasn't made an impression lately despite market confidence. Last start could only manage eighth over 1m3f at this track. Can improve and is a leading player on best figures. TARAMANSOUR (2) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when fifth, beaten 6 lengths, over 1m1/2f at Caulfield. Finds a tougher race but he has the talent to test this line-up. BOLD SOUL (1) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when seventh, beaten 4. 5 lengths, over 1m2f at Caulfield. Jake Noonan gets the best out of this five-year-old gelding. Must raise the bar but a big run will not surprise. STRAWBERRY ROCK (4) was beaten 1. 75 lengths into fifth in a 1m6f contest at Flemington at his latest appearance. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
