LAWRENNY BOYS (6) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when seventh and beaten 6 lengths over 5½f at this track after being prominent at the turn. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. GEEGEES MERCEDES (14) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing third last time out over 6f at this track. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. LIGHT FORCE (2) resumes from a lay-off of five months. Could only manage to finish sixth at the latest run over 1m at this track. Launched last prep with a minor placing at this track over 5½f. Tuned up with a fourth in a recent trial at Hobart. Nicely placed and can get off the mark. DUBAI AFFAIR (10) resumes from a lay-off of ten months. Looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 7f at Launceston. Should present well following a recent trial win. Nicely placed and can figure in the finish.
