Managed to fill a minor placing at Launceston two starts back when resuming before finishing fourth over 5½f at this track last time. Well placed this line-up and might be his day. THE LITTLE BAY (7) was beaten for speed on debut last start then worked home honestly to finish fifth over 5½f at this track. Improver who looks a major player. SOUTHERN AURORAS (11) finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 5½f at this track, beaten half a length. Nicely placed to take this out. ARGYLL DIAMOND (8) finished second last start over 6f at this track to make it two minor placings from six runs. Goes well here with two top-three finishes to her credit. Among the fringe hopes.
