SILVER DAGGER (6) scored two runs back then was well supported last time but could only manage to finish eighth over 7f32yards at this track after she was in contention on the turn. Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. CARTOON GRAVEYARD (1) resumes. Wasn't far away at last run before a break, finishing fifth over 1m in the LR George Adams Plate at Launceston five-and-a-half months ago. Has to be respected. DUSTLAND FAIRYTALE (7) ran fourth at her latest appearance over 7¾f at Geelong, clocking in 7 lengths from the winner. Is very effective at this distance with two wins from six runs. Right in the contest.
