FASHION FOX (7) was racing well without winning, finishing in the money on three consecutive occasions, before finishing fourth last time out over 1m1 1/2f at Devonport Synthetic. Harder here but he is right in this. GEE GEE MISS QUITA (2) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 6 lengths over 7f at this track. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. DOONICAN (10) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 7 lengths when 11th in a 1m1/4f contest at Devonport Synthetic two weeks ago. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is right in contention. HAPPY CLAN (3) finished fifth last start over 1m1 1/2f at Devonport Synthetic after racing on the pace for much of the way. Can figure in the finish.
