FREAK ON A LEAD (1) finished out of the money two starts back then he settled well back and was beaten 12 lengths when eighth over 6f at Launceston three-and-a-half weeks ago. Has the class to find the winners' list. CAPITAL CHEVAL (2) improved sharply on his fifth two starts back at Launceston with a win as public elect over 6¾f at Devonport Synthetic two weeks ago, getting home by a neck after being in the firing line on the corner. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot repeat the dose. GEEGEEHAILSTORM (5) started at 3/1 last time on the back of a win at Launceston two starts ago but was below her best, finishing fifth over 6f at Launceston. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. VAN SCOTIA (8) has been in the market at her last couple of runs but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest ninth at Launceston over 7f. Expecting improvement.
