Re-unites with Anthony Darmanin who was on board last start. Capable of taking the next step. DAY PERFORMER (4) showed good early speed and led throughout to score by 1.75 lengths last start over 6f21yards at Launceston. Will prove very tough to beat. PERIWINKLE (5) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on July 3 finishing seventh and beaten 5 lengths over 5f at Sandown-Hillside. Sure to make her presence felt. RED FOX (3) did his best work late and finished second last time over 5½f at Launceston, beaten 1.75 lengths. Will enjoy a drop in class so he will be hard to beat.
