BOUNTY BAY (13) met with solid support last start over 1m2 1/2f at Launceston when fourth, beaten 4 lengths. Can bounce back. PEPPARONI (8) didn't do a bad job when third last start over 1m at Launceston, beaten 0.9 lengths. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. VAN SCOTIA (6) pushed forward from a wide draw last start and found a position close to the lead before sticking on well to finish third over 7f at Launceston. Hard to beat in this suitable race. GIE IT LALDY (7) was too good for a maiden field last start over 5¾f at Devonport Synthetic, scoring by a head. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Re-unites with Anthony Darmanin who was on board last start. Harder task ahead this time but can measure up.
