PINANDI (7) returns from a lay-off of four months. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when sixth over 7f at Longford. Has switched to the Michael Trinder stable over the break. Capable of playing a major role. TOUGH IMPACT (3) produced a good effort last start when second over 6f21yards at Launceston to make it three minor placings from four starts this campaign. Has a high cruising speed. Leading contender. GEE GEES MOONLITE (4) did little and finished 12 lengths from the winner in 11th over 6f21yards at Launceston last start, a less impressive effort than her sixth at this track the run before. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. SHE PLAYS GAMES (8) drifted back from her wide draw last time then hit the line hard to finish third at this track over 5½f. Strong chance again.
