MASH AND GRAVY (4) finished fourth last start over 1m2 1/2f at Stony Creek after racing on the pace for much of the way. Will go forward and is expected to be in the finish. RULE OF SALEX (3) was an impressive winner last time over 1m2f at Woolamai, scoring by 12 lengths. Hit with a bit more weight for that huge win but he should cope. MR ZIGMUND (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m2f at Woolamai, beaten 21 lengths into sixth. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. PINE VALLEY (1) was safely held when third last time out over 1m2f at Woolamai, beaten 15 lengths, after a win at Yea at the previous outing. Nicely placed to play a leading role.
