LISIEUX (10) turned in a modest performance when seventh last time out over 6f at Balnarring, beaten 5 lengths. That followed a win at Woolamai at the previous outing. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. WAR OF WISDOM (8) was thereabouts last time out when third at Woolamai over 4f95yards, beaten 1.4 lengths. Should be at her peak now. Form here at this distance is sound with two wins and three minor placings from six starts. A bold showing is likely. SHAHIN (4) started at 3/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing eighth and beaten 9 lengths at Burrumbeet over 6¾f. Sophie Clayfield gets the best out of this five-year-old gelding. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is one of the main contenders. SPIRIT MAKER (2) is putting together some solid results. Finished third at this track two starts back then landed the prize by 1.3 lengths last time out over 4f95yards at Woolamai. Nicely placed to go back-to-back.
