CABLE TOWN (1) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 5.5 lengths back in seventh over 5f at Yarra Valley. Will go forward and is expected to be in the finish. RIVERS REWARD (5) is fresh from a lay-off of eight months and did hit the frame when last resuming at Woolamai over 5f. In a different yard now. Comes here with definite top-three claims. MALIEPO (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f at Bendigo, beaten 5.5 lengths into sixth. No surprise to see her in the mix.
