Clive Cox is operating at a near 22% strike-rate for the last fortnight and AKIRRA (2) makes plenty of appeal under the equally in-form Rossa Ryan. He only faded late after showing plenty of natural speed over 5f at Wolverhampton when last seen in December. Could be all the better for his subsequent gelding operation. Nottingham maiden winner BINTARYANA (7) did well finishing second at Southwell and must be respected now dropping to 5f on her handicap debut under Oisin Murphy. BURDETT ESTATE (1) produced a good race back in third on his reappearance at Wolverhampton (5f) sixty days ago. Might do better now handicapping. NOBLE VOW (6) is also in the mix.
