LIONS LAW (1) is a nine-start maiden who was close to a win before a five-and-a-half months break, finishing off with a minor placing at Fairmount Park (Dirt). Jockey Luis H Colon back aboard. Has ability and sure to prove tough to beat. ARRIVEDERCCI (2) was prominent in running on debut nine months ago and battled on well for third over 4½f at this track (Dirt). Has not been produced since. Likely improver and should be in the finish. SMOKED (8) is a first-starter by Adios Charlie from Rooney Doodle who has been a prolific producer including winners at black type level. Comes from a stable which has an impressive strike rate with the first-starters. Looks one of the better chances despite an awkward stall. HARPER BRIANA (7) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on 29/10/2024, finishing seventh and beaten 13 lengths over 6f at Fairmount Park (Dirt). Definite top-three chance.
