ICE AXE (4) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just 1.3 lengths from the winner in second over 1m1/4f at this track after being prominent at the bend. Enjoys a drop in grade so he is one of the main contenders. ANNA AFTER MIDNITE (6) went forward last start over 1m1/4f at this track (Dirt) and held on well for second, beaten 8 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot salute. CHERRY ORCHARD (7) finished out of the money two starts back then he got a long way back and was beaten 22 lengths when tenth in a 6f contest at this track two weeks ago. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. GRAY MIKE (5) is a 13-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 15 lengths when sixth over 1m1/4f at this track (Dirt). Improvement in store with added fitness and the blinkers removed.
