LIGHTHOUSE LASS (7) showed little early speed then came with a powerful run to finish second when resuming last time out over 5½f at Gosford. Should go well again. MONTE CRUISE (8) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 5f at Nowra, beaten only a head. Taking on a better field but she is up to the task. SPARTUS (2) missed the frame but not disgraced in town when seventh at Canterbury. Returns to home track this time. Will find this easier than last start. Has claims on his best form. KISS GOODNIGHT (9) could only manage 12th last time over 5½f in The Sunlight at Gold Coast prior to a short break. Kept ticking over with a subsequent trial win at Warwick Farm. Is worth keeping safe.
