PAINTED WINGS (6) was never in contention when 5 lengths from the winner in eighth over 6f at Wyong last start, a less impressive effort than her fourth on debut at Kembla Grange the run before. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. THE IRON STAR (2) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 6 lengths back in fifth over 1m at Gosford. Solid top-three prospects.
