Race Tip

MONTE BRAVEHEART (6) is a 10-start maiden who finished fifth, beaten 2.75 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Kembla Grange. Plenty of scope for improvement and is a great chance to break through. BETHSHEBA (8) improved last time out, finishing 2.5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 4½f at Muswellbrook. Finds a tougher race but a win is not out of the question. OUR COSMIC BELLE (9) did little and finished 16 lengths from the winner in tenth over 7f at Kembla Grange last start, a less impressive effort than her when resuming ninth at Kembla Grange the run before. Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. DEFYING (2) is returning from a lay-off of three-and-a-half months. Finished ninth at this track over 5½f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer M & D Kearney.
