BOJANGLES (2) is back from a lay-off of four months and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 5½f at Wyong. Ran sixth in a trial at Beaumont (Newcastle) over 5f recently. Expected to go very well. XTRA GEAR (15) showed good early speed then led into the straight last start before fighting on to finish third, beaten 1.4 lengths, over 5f at Eagle Farm. Well-placed and should be tough to rein in again. MR ROCK IT (4) kept coming only to just miss last start over 5f at Sapphire Coast. Worth noting Robbie Downey goes aboard. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to take this out. WEALTHY INVESTOR (11) ran below expectations last time at Wyong, finishing sixth and beaten 3.5 lengths. Suitably placed so expecting a better run this time.
