SOARINGFORTHESUN (3) did little and finished 7 lengths from the winner in fifth over 6½f at this track last start after being prominent at the bend, a less impressive effort than his fourth at this track the run before. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. SET TO SHINE (1) showed good early muster and fought on to finish third last start over 6½f at this track. Finds a tougher race but a win is not out of the question. STANFORD BAY (4) had been performing well until racing below his best last time when fifth over 6½f at this track. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Will be in this for a long way. COUNTERACT (5) turned in a fine effort to score by a nose at this track and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Looks well placed so expect another big run.
