ZOWAL (2) progressed well on second start of the new campaign when scoring narrowly at Pontefract (1m). Almost two months off the track since then. Climb in weights offset by a jockey claim. Respect. PEARL EYE (6) has not been with his current stable long. Shaped encouragingly attempting this journey at Ayr two weeks ago and well treated now rates the biggest threat. DRAUPNIR (7) has often shaped as if there could be more to come. Not at best tackling track and trip last time and hood is now dispensed with. Worth giving another chance. QITAAL (3) looks next best after finishing second in latest (1m2f). Does seem vulnerable for win purposes however.
