GENTLE WARRIOR (3) returned to form when dropped into easier company. Finished a solid second over 1m6f at Nottingham. He looks well placed again. SHIPSHAPE (4) was only denied by a neck at Thirsk over this distance after racing prominently. Has the form to test this field despite the tougher assignment. RAULIN (1) has yet to hit top gear this prep but tends to improve sharply as the season progresses. Expect a much better showing. LUDOS LANDING (2) was well beaten at Newcastle last start but is capable of better. Booking of Jason Hart catches the eye. Worth giving another chance on his best form.
