IMMORTAL ROSE (8) has recorded two minor placings from three runs this campaign. Produced another good effort last start when second over 1m2f at Warrnambool after she was in the firing line all the way. Perfectly placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. STOLEN STOCK (7) finished sixth when resuming two runs back then did a good job last start but found one better over 7¾f at St Arnaud, beaten only half a length after being in contention on the turn. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is right in contention. JOTOPELI (4) was sent out favourite but could only finish fourth over 7¾f at St Arnaud last time. Prior to that had been racing well, collecting two minor placings on end. Takes on a tougher assignment this time but should be involved in the finish. PARKRUN (5) finished sixth last time out over 7¾f at St Arnaud, beaten 1. 75 lengths. One of the genuine contenders.
