EQUITABLE (1) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Bundaberg, finishing second and only 2 lengths from the winner at the end of 5f98yards. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. EMBEZZLES (7) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 5 lengths away in fifth over 5f at Gladstone. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. REEBAR (3) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 20 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 6f at Esk, beaten 2. 5 lengths. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race. LA SUERTE (4) is back at the races for the first time since May 9. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 4f at Nanango. Yet to win when resuming but generally runs well with two minor placings from four tries. Among the better hopes.
