FAST DA (5) looks close to a win, finishing in the placings at his last couple of runs including a third most recently over 6f at Inverell when beaten 2. 75 lengths. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Best form puts him right in this. STILLWELL (1) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten 1. 4 lengths, over 5f at Toowoomba when coming back from a break. Change of rider to Mikayla Weir who has an excellent strike rate when in the saddle, including two wins. Should be in the finish. WINGED (4) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing third and beaten only 2 lengths over 1m at Tamworth. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. GOLD SMILES (6) saluted two runs ago then turned in a nice run last time out when eighth over 7f at Moree, beaten 2. 25 lengths. In contention this time.
