XERXES (7) raced on the speed last start and battled on well but found one better over 7½f at Muswellbrook. Hasn't been far away this time in work with three minor placings from five starts. Should prove tough to beat. ZOU DE LAGOS (8) impressed last time out at the second run of the campaign when he made late ground and finished 5 lengths from the winner in second over 1m at Coffs Harbour. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out. REAL HOUSEWIVES (14) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 1.4 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1m at Tamworth. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. PREORDAIN (2) was beaten 2.5 lengths into fourth over 7f at Mudgee at his latest appearance. Well placed to make amends.
