Looks better placed over this shorter trip so looks a leading contender. SHADDAP (10) is coming off a determined win last start over 7f at Sapphire Coast three weeks ago. Nice weight drop so another big run is on the cards. ZAHDI (2) started at 6/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth and beaten 10 lengths at Beaumont (Newcastle) over 6¾f. Has the class to take care of this field. TAKEMINE (6) built on a nice second when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Tamworth with a win over 6f at Inverell three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 0.8 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot score again.
