GIGATON (5) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 7f at Mudgee, beaten only 0.9 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Faces an easier assignment so he is sure to prove hard to beat. FANTASTIC BEAST (4) turned in a moderate run over this journey last time out, settling in a rearwards position and failing to come on when eighth over 7f at Tamworth. Has the class to put the recent poor run behind him. KELLYMORPHOSE (9) was never in contention last time over 7¼f at Muswellbrook when she finished fourth, beaten 6 lengths. This looks a nice race so expect her to finish closer.
