BELLE SONNET (5) is a three-year-old filly who is having her first run for the Sally Torrens stable. Finished off last campaign with a eighth at Ararat ten weeks ago. Not seen at the trials but looks well placed. Bold showing expected. SHOWTIME SASSY (9) is a seven-start maiden who returned last time and finished fifth at Tamworth over 5f, beaten 3 lengths. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. One of the main contenders. THE HOFF (3) is ready to win after another minor placing last start, finishing third over 6f at Warren. Best figures measure up and is sure to run well.
