FLUX (1) defied his big price last time when beaten just 0.6 lengths into fourth over 6f at Ballarat. Bold showing expected again. COUNT IDA (11) had been nearing a win before breaking through last time out, lifting to score by a long neck over 6¾f at Donald. Pulled out plenty to win and weight penalty here but expected to measure up again. SMOKEY WARRIOR (7) made some progress last start to finish fifth over 5½f at Tatura, beaten 2.25 lengths. Tackles a longer journey this time around and is capable of further improvement.
