MISS CANDY GIRL (10) was in commission last time out but disappointed in finishing fifth over 5½f at this track (Synthetic), beaten 9 lengths after she was well back on straightening. Solid top-three chance on her best figures. NEW LEASE ON LIFE (12) has started twice, running a good third on debut then finishing seventh, beaten 20 lengths, last time over 1m1/4f at this track (Synthetic). Plenty of scope for improvement.
