WHITETHORN (4) has recorded three minor placings from three starts to date, the latest when second over 1m at this track (Turf). Form sound without winning and expected to go close. ABSOLUTE HONOR (6) was well fancied but below her best at the last run before a break on October 17, finishing seventh over 1m1/2f at Keeneland (Dirt). Starts this prep with Micah J Husbands taking charge. Sure to return in good style. PLAYA AZUL (3) has been racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at this track (Dirt) over 7f. Another big run expected. SPIRIT OF HOPE (1) is a superbly bred four-year-old filly making her first appearance at the races. By Street Sense from the former top race mare Dance Card who has produced some fine gallopers, including a winner at the elite level. Should get all the favours from this good gate and should be in the finish.
