SURF'S UP (2) last appeared four weeks ago over 5f at this track when he finished third. This is his first run for the Carlos A David stable. Makes plenty of appeal in the new surrounds. MOON LANDING (3) returned from a break last start with a less than impressive sixth over 7f at Woodbine after giving away a big start. Has the talent to take this out. BLAZING BUCCHERO (7) finished out of the money two starts back then he got a long way back and was beaten 10 lengths when sixth in a 7f contest at Woodbine eight weeks ago. Finds a more suitable contest and can find winning form. SPLIT STRIKE (4) is a five-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Steve Owens stable. Finished off last campaign with a fourth at Woodbine six months ago. Not seen at the trials but looks well placed. Can return with a bold run.
