POP ROX (3) improved sharply on her fifth two starts back at this track (Synthetic) with success over 5½f at this track (Dirt) two weeks ago, getting home by 3. 5 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot repeat the dose. OPPOSITE THE CROWD (4) returns from a break of four-and-a-half months. Consistent performer last prep whose most recent appearance resulted in a win over 5½f at Delaware Park. Nicely placed to kick off another successful campaign. MIGUEL'S BELLE (5) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at this track. Couldn't follow that up last time out when tenth over 6f at this track, beaten 25 lengths. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. CHAINA (8) turned in another moderate effort last start when 8 lengths from the winner in ninth over 5f at this track. Finds a nice race and can atone.
