Well-placed and will take catching. FLYING LIAM (6) finds it hard to win with two victories from 20 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 1m at Aqueduct, beaten 6 lengths. Faces an easier assignment so he is a major player. BANDED ROCKET (1) resumes from a lay-off of five months after closing off last campaign with four consecutive minor placings. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. One to consider. SOUND OF THE BEAST (7) finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 6f at this track (Dirt), beaten 4 lengths. Fitter for that run. Capable of another top-three outcome.
