EMIRATES AFFAIR (4) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by 4 lengths over 6½f at this track (Dirt). Well placed and there is no reason she cannot salute. POIEMA (6) has changed stables since finishing third over 6f at this track (Dirt) three months ago. Good fresh performer with a win and two minor placings from six runs. One of the primary contenders. GIRVIN GIRL (2) showed good early speed and led into the straight before fading to finish fourth, beaten 2.25 lengths, over 6½f at this track (Dirt). Good record at this journey with two wins and five minor placings from eight starts and should play a prominent role. U LITE UP MY LIFE (5) is having her first run since April 6. Goes very well when fresh with two wins from three starts, the latest over 6½f at Tampa Bay Downs at the start of last prep. Makes plenty of appeal.
