Among the leading players. INHERENT PROMISE (4) was never in contention last time over 7½f at this track (Turf) when he finished ninth, beaten 31 lengths. Solid top-three chance on his best figures. PARIS SURPRISE (3) returns after four months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a fifth over 1m1/2f at this track (Synthetic). Commenced last prep with a minor placing at Kentucky over 1m. Can kick off with a bold showing.
