BLUE SPEARMAN (8) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.3 lengths from the winner in second over 5½f at this track after being in the firing line on the turn. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. WALT WHITMAN (5) is coming along nicely this prep. Finished seventh when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at this track (Dirt) then improved and scored over 5f at this track (Synthetic) three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by half a length after being prominent at the bend. Likely to be there at the finish again. LUKAS PRINCE (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he settled well back over 7f at Tampa Bay Downs, beaten 19 lengths into seventh. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. BEGANINGREENPOINT (10) has switched yards since finishing fourth four weeks ago over 5½f at this track.
