MOGORDY (5) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 20 lengths when fifth in a 1m1/2f contest at this track five weeks ago after being prominent at the turn. Faces an easier assignment so he will be hard to beat. SHIFTY GOLD (7) stepped out for the first time last start and was just fair in finishing fifth at this track (Synthetic) over 5½f, beaten 5 lengths. Not to be discounted.
