JERRY THE NIPPER (3) hasn't won recently but looks close to a breakthrough based on his last start third at Listed level at Aqueduct (Turf) over 1m1/2f when beaten 2.25 lengths. Should be poised just off the lead. Sure to be competitive. YAMATO (4) built on a nice third when fresh from a lay-off two starts back in stakes class at Laurel (Dirt) with a win over 1m1/4f at this track (Synthetic) five weeks ago, getting home by 3 lengths. Nicely placed to take this out.
