BAL DE MAR (4) remains a maiden after three runs. Had plenty of admirers last time but could only manage to finish fourth over 5½f at this track (Synthetic). Well placed on this occasion and gets her chance to break the ice. BRITISH EMPRESS (2) finished 3 lengths from the winner in fourth last start after being in the firing line on the bend over 1m at this track, an improvement on her when resuming sixth at this track the run before. Tackling a deeper field this time but she is capable of running a bold race. LAURISTON (5) got well back over 1m1/2f at this track (Turf) last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 20 lengths away in eighth. Finds an easier assignment and can take this out. AWAIT (3) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at this track, beaten 8 lengths into eighth. Has the talent to take this out.
