MACKOR (2) is a genuine type with four minor placings from four starts this time in work. Turned in another good effort last time out when second over 5f at this track (Synthetic) after he was handy all the way. Going up a level this time but he cannot be underestimated. REBEL WITH A CLUE (5) is on debut for the W A Ward stable. Three-year-old gelding by Kuroshio from Pivotal Era. Serious contender, particularly if solid in the market. LAMCARO (3) returns from a lay-off. Finished second at this track and distance at his only appearance last prep 12 weeks ago. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Will be in this for a long way. MELLIFLUOUS (9) is back after a break of three-and-a-half months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing third at his latest appearance over 6f at Horseshoe Indianapolis (Dirt). Commenced last prep with a minor placing at Ellis Park over 6½f. Nicely placed and can figure in the finish.
