IF NOT FOR LUCK (3) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by a nose over 5f at this track (Turf). Record at this trip is excellent and is all set to make it two-for-two this prep. PORTOFINO (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f at Churchill Downs, beaten 2.25 lengths into fifth. Has a good record at this course and distance, including two wins. Edgard J Zayas gets the best out of this four-year-old gelding. Faces an easier assignment so he is perfectly placed to score. SEAVER (8) was in the money two starts back at Aqueduct but was unable to repeat the effort last time when sixth, beaten 6 lengths, at Aqueduct (Turf) over 6f. Worth noting Joe Bravo goes aboard. Ideally placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. VAMOS VIEJO (2) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.5 lengths from the winner in second over 5½f at Laurel. Nicely placed to maintain the form.
